Beauty: Physical vs. Inner

The bff sent this via email and I really liked it!

When you start to know someone, all their physical characteristics start to disappear. You begin to dwell in their energy, recognize the scent of their skin. You see only the essence of the person, not the shell. That’s why you can’t fall in love with beauty. You can lust after it, be infatuated by it, want to own it. You can love it with your eyes and your body but not your heart. And that’s why, when you really connect with a person’s inner self, any physical imperfections disappear, become irrelevant. – Lisa Unger, Beautiful Lies

So sweet and so true!

I want this with my significant other!!

Wore it, loved it, now trash it

"Trash the Wedding Dress"
My first time hearing this phrase today. I gave my coworker a o_O face! Why would you ever want to trash your wedding dress?

She explained to me that sometimes after a couple gets married, they have a photo shoot afterwards...trashing the wedding dress. Basically, not your normal engagement or wedding day photos, but photos where you can dirty the dress without worrying about it! I really like some of the photos and its definitely a form of art! It's hard to explain, but let me show you through pictures!

Seriously, talk about trashing a dress! Love the colors and how carefree she looks!

I just love everything about this picture. The pose, the kiss, the background building, the sky, the trees. It's beautiful!

Time is the wisest of all counselors

So this is where the story begins.

TEA!

I love drinking tea and I drink it everyday! I'm a tea addict. Anyway, I tried something different from my usual Green Tea. My coworker had bought some organic mango...fruity something something...green tea. OMG the aroma of the tea leaves were amazing and so I just had to have it. Mid day, I realized there was a tea fortune...basically just a quote on the tea bag. It said "Wait for the wisest of all counselors, Time." - Pericles

I really liked it! Time is the wisest of all counselors! It teaches and it heals! Time allows you to grow. To grow into the person you are or the person you will become. To grow physically, mentally and emotionally.

Time teaches you patience.

Time allows you to heal from those who have hurt you.

Time teaches you how to forgive those who have betrayed you or hurt you.

Time allows two people to bond.

Time allows friendships/relationships to grow.

Time teaches perseverance.

Some things...only time can tell!
